Gene Therapy: How Various Stakeholders Collaborate to Impact Patient Access and Outcomes

Julia Wermerskirchen, senior director of strategic partnerships for Optum Frontier Therapies, will moderate the panel discussion titled "Gene Therapy: How Various Stakeholders Collaborate to Impact Patient Access and Outcomes.”
The panel will consist of industry experts including:
- Brad Martin – Vice president, market access, specialty trade and distribution at Taysha Gene Therapies
- Mindy Cameron – Patient advocate and life sciences consultant at AdvocacyWorks
- Lisa Carman – Vice president, health economics and outcomes research HEOR and value-based contracting at Optum Life Sciences
The panel will highlight topics such as: -
- Understanding the patient journey and the associated stakeholder touch points when a gene therapy is the chosen treatment
- Understanding how to execute an industry-leading patient experience
- Addressing the cost of the gene therapy
